Ebay item 10/12/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1954-Jaguar-XK-XK140-Factory-overdrive-Numbers-matching/1234196 ...
Car has a buy it now price of $56,500 for 20 days, seller faunlimited1, 70k miles.
Seller's description:
1954 Jaguar XK140 OTS
4 speed Factory overdrive-
Numbers matching head and block!
Up for your consideration is this amazing find, a very rare XK140 OTS with Factory overdrive
This car is an excellent base for a project, It has been in dry storage for over 15 years and is now awaiting restoration.
The engine is fully matching numbers, both head and block. The engine turns freely by hand. The engine bay is very original, retaining many original parts and is un altered
It suffered minor passenger side fender damage in the 1990's or so and was taken off the road for repair.
I am missing the front bumper, but both headlights are included and headlight buckets.
The interior is completely original aside from the seat bottoms, also included is the Roadster top and top frame, along with side curtain.
The frame is rock solid, with the only minor rust being contained to the passenger side door sill, and trunk corners, very minimal and this car is not a rust bucket by any stretch.
Overall this will make for an excellent restoration candidate
