1955 JAGUAR XK140MC open two seater 2dr Roadster 6-cyl. 3442cc/210hp 2bbl. Carmen Red over black leather interior. Matching number example of a very beautiful Jaguar XK140 roadster. This car runs and drives excellent. It has the MC (higher horsepower) engine and a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The original matching numbers head is currently off the car, but will be included with sale.
The car did receive a driver quality restoration approximately 10 yrs ago. The frame on the car is solid and free of corrosion or damage. This Jaguar is 99% rust free as it has been stored indoors, the exception being some surface rust in the trunk and a few bubbles on the passenger rear quarter. The interior has been refreshed and the car has a new top that closes and latches effectively. The car is 90-95% complete with some missing small bits. These cars are getting very hard to very hard to find and they are appreciating quickly. Clean Oregon title in hand.
