1956 Jaguar XK-140 Sports Roadster Special Equipment. 6 cylinder, dual overhead cams, twin carburetors, 210 BPH, 4 speed gear box with Laycock-de-Normanville overdrive which give 5 forward speeds, top folds behind the seat with side curtains, dual exhaust system, 600 X 16 wide white wall tires on knock-off red wire wheels, origilal hand book, owners manual, original bill of sale, all maintainence and service records, factory tool kit, factory jack, etc. 80+ year old original owner has asked me to list this car for him. The original owner who purhcased it new in 1956 and has owned it ever since. Never saw bad weather. Alway garaged in heated garage. Original black paint has a few very minor road chips, no checking. Original red leather needs fed and cleaned - worn spot on the drivers seat back will need some attention. Engine compartment clean - no leaks. Ideal candidate for the Original Car Catagory for showing. Needs detailed. Runs and drives great. Car located in Indianapoils, Indiana just east of downtown.
