Current bid $1,025 reserve not met, 5 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Lexington, Kentucky.
Sellers description:
Maybe one of the finest XK140 Roadsters in the world. This is a rare disc wheel - rear spats version rarely seen on XK 140's. This Jaguar is a recent JCNA best in class that scored 98.9 points. I might add that the JCNA judge is one of the most critical judges in the country so to achieve such a high score is truly remarkable. To begin with this Jaguar is everything you expect it to be of a Concours event winning car. The body is truly probably better than when it left the factory. I have intimate knowledge of the car as I formally owned it and I am more familiar with it than most cars I offer. I will tell you that the undercarriage is of show class and this Jaguar was restored to the highest degree possible. I have included many pictures to confirm my belief. The exterior paint quality is unsurpassed yet still looks factory. It does not have that artificial mile deep clear look that distracts from a period correct car. The interior is immaculate and of course near impossible to find a flaw. This Jaguar is complete with a correct cloth top, side curtains, tool roll and all miscellaneous tire changing tools. The only flaw that I currently see is some minor breakage of the trunk floor cover as it meets the corners. Mechanically this Jaguar runs the best. The engine was recently completely gone through with new everything. The clutch was also replaced when the engine was out. The transmission is the typical Moss gearbox but performs correctly. There are no electrical issues. This Jaguar was driven to the JCNA Concours which is a 200 mile drive to and from the show site. Where can you obtain a trailer queen that can be driven?

Seller's description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta (previously Lexington, KY) is proud to present this stunning 1957 Jaguar XK140. This gorgeous 50s two seater embodies all of what it means to be a true European roadster. Its brilliant red finish pairs amazingly well with wide white wall tires while the black leather interior speaks to its class as well. The curves on this Jag will have any car enthusiast drooling. Powering this sport luxury vehicle is a rebuilt 3.4L double overhead cam, inline 6 cylinder engine that produced a very pleasing amount of power for its time. These cars make great weekend cruisers and they are an absolute blast to drive. Stand out at your local car show with one of these rare classic beauties. They are becoming harder and harder to find in this condition.
