Seeking My Former 1956 Jaguar XK140 (Chassis 815545BW)

Hi everyone — I’m hoping to trace my old 1956 Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupé, chassis 815545BW, originally black with a red interior and a Borg-Warner automatic.

I owned it in Groton, Connecticut from about 1969–1972, registered under CT plate 987H. If anyone knows where it might be today or has info, I’d love to reconnect with the car’s story.

Thanks so much for any leads — and for keeping these classics alive!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
