I've deleted a LOT of contentious comments which really don't have a place here.

Note: we don't have a problem with factual assessments of a car's condition or published information like ads, auctions, etc (perhaps even a police report involving theft or damage). But please do not post accusations or contentious opinions about the cars or any person associated with them here.

Car was purchased by Dr. Merrill Athon and son Mark Athon in about June 1974 from Richard Aldis. It was stored in a outdoor shed in Lawrence Kansas on Louisiana street across from Broken Arrow Park, not far from the KU campus Car was complete except for steering wheel button and bumper. After purchase, during restoration, the car was vandalized beyond repair and was then parted-out.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
