Just two registered owners from new
The XK 140 offered here is a highly original example of the desirable drophead variant. Delivered to its first owner, Eugene Ferrand, in the US in 1955, it was originally finished in the tasteful pastel blue with red leather combination. Mr Ferrand would go on to own the car for an incredible 46 years. Over its life, this XK 140 has been subject to on-going maintenance, negating the need for a full restoration. It is presented in its original paint and interior, as well as with its tool roll, and is a fully matching-numbers example throughout, retaining all of its original major mechanical components. The Jaguar is also offered with a recent German TÜV certificate and is currently registered in Germany.
With only 72,000 miles from new and just two registered owners in its lifetime, this highly original XK 140, complete with Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, is an excellent entry into the world of Jaguar's most beautiful roadsters.
