Our desirable Jaguar XK 140 Drophead Coupé rolled out of the factory in March 1956 and was sold by C.G.A in Milan, Italy. The production sheet of Jaguar Heritage confirms that this left-hand drive was equipped with a manual gearbox with overdrive and the "Special Equipment" option, which included the head from a C-Type. Its old Italian registration confirms that the car was bought new by Count Tommaso Comparini Bardzky, who kept the car until 1974. Its current owners acquired the car in 2008, seduced by the beautiful patina of the car. In its original shade of "maroon", with a top in "sand" color, the car sports an incredible and charming patina. In love with its state of conservation, its owners never dared to open the hood for fear of damaging it. The interior, in two-tone red and beige accented with woodwork is also very well preserved. It was recently been serviced by Aston Martin Riviera in Lausanne and has efficient disc brakes with Coopercraft calipers at the front, replacing the drums. During our test, the car was lively and drove well. In a remarkable state of preservation, this XK, with very interesting factory fitted characteristics, should appeal to enthusiast who will appreciate the car's authenticity and performance capabilities.
Estimation 80 000 - 120 000 €
