Sellers description:
1957 Jaguar XK 140 DHC. Matching Numbers. One of 65 built(rare). Owned over 30 yrs. Kept in heated garage. Jaguar mechanic overhauled engine. New pistons, valves, aluminum flywheel, and clutch. Carbs rebuilt & synchronized, new (starter, hoses, SS exhaust pipes, exhaust manifold reporcelained, mallory distributor, brake lines & shoes, gas lines, tierods, polyurethane bushings, wiring harness). Radiator refurbished. Frame sandblasted/painted, body removed from frame, stripped, repainted. New windshield and rubber gasket. New interior (leather seats, carpeting, side panels, lined top, completely resurfaced Burral walnut dash). Convertible top frame sand blasted & powder coated. Bumpers & over-rides straightened & rechromed. Have owners manual & receipts for material & labor.
Condition: Small paint chips on door edges. Wiper motor good, switch doesn't work. RPM gauge works but makes noise. Currently disconnected. Leaks small amount of oil but hey it wouldn't be a jag if it didn't. Asking price $67,500. 56,883 miles.
