    Auction description:
    Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
    Model XK150 FHC
    First Registered 1959
    Registration No CherReg
    Engine No V6892-8
    Chassis No 8S4903DN
    MOT June 2011
    Colour Black
Offered here is a 1959 FHC, which has benefited from many sensible upgrades to make it easier to use. The steering is power assisted rack and pinion via an XJ40 quick rack. The Big Valve head is unleaded compatible is fed through a pair of 2" SU carbs, while the suspension has adjustable shocks and anti-roll bars. To aid with stopping, the car has Coopercraft 4 pot calipers at the front, because the XK was way ahead of its time having Disc Brakes.

Finished in factory black with tan leather, the car is offered complete with a huge history file, which includes details of the restoration and upgrades, photographs, owners handbook and service manual.

A very usable XK, which is an ideal classic tourer.

    Estimate £30, 000 - £35,000

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.
