When it comes to describe this XK 150, the first thing that comes to my mind is: "Evergreen". This XK 150 is for many classic car enthusiasts the most typical open British sportscar produced. The more this particular XK comes in the perfectly choosen colour combination of British racing green with suede green leather interior (front seats freshly retrimmed) and black mohair hood.
This ex-Switzerland Jaguar XK 150 was the 1st acquisition of what became a nice private classic car collection containing all the right makes such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Alvis, etc... Always meticulously maintained (as Swiss enthusiasts are reputed for) chassis S82 724 ODN is a full matching nrs Jaguar (engine & cylinderhead V 5914 - 8) and, as is clear with the DN suffix to the chassis N°, equipped with an Over-Drive.
Dunlop chrome wire wheels with Pirelli Cinturato tyres underlign the beauty and elegance of this sportscar. Underbonnet inspection shows a very tidy engine compartiment with nice detailing and care to all mechanical components. Also the chassis and complete underneath of this Jaguar are in a perfectly sound, clean, undamaged, original condition and demonstrate the high degree of previous mantainance.

As could be expected, driving this XK 150 on the road is a very rewarding experience. Lots of smooth power from the 3,4 liter twin overhead six cylinder, precise shifting gearbox and responsive Over-Drive, excellent sensitive steering, very efficient disc brakes, etc... This evergreen XK150 DHC is priced very attractively at 72.500 Euro

Lot 136 - 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe
Estimate: £58,000 - £65,000
Registration Number: 954 XUR
Chassis Number: S827240DN

This wonderful drophead XK 150 is for many classic car enthusiasts one of the most iconic open British sports car produced. This particular example comes in the a tasteful livery of British racing green, matched by a green leather interior of which the front seats are freshly trimmed, with a black mohair hood.

This delightful specimen was once part of a private collection in Switzerland. and was subsequently meticulously maintained, in the manner of most Swiss enthusiasts, throughout that ownership. Chassis S82 724 ODN is a full matching Jaguar identification numbers, (engine &cylinder head V 5914 - 8) and, as is clear from the DN suffix to the chassis number, came equipped with overdrive.

As one would expect, driving this XK 150 on the road is a very rewarding experience. Lots of smooth power from the 3.4 litre twin overhead six cylinder, precise shifting gearbox and relaxed overdrive performance when required; all these aspects make this particular Jaguar a wonderful investment, which can be used on the roads of the UK with verve and gusto, just as it was when it was built.
