Where did I see this car? On eBay? Thanks for posting it. I think it's supposed to be a replica of the Napier Railton, but like I said, I cannot remember where I saw this.

1958 Jag XK150 rebodied with old style two seat race style body, with very nice lines. May have been built in England, using the name, Napier. Professionally built, using Jaguar components. Is now Chevy powered. Vehicle should be restored and refitted with another XK Jag engine and transmission, which are available. Properly done this vehicle may be allowed in some vintage race groups. A V-12, aero or tank engine could be made to fit. Just think about six pipes out each side! Licenced using the Jaguar chassic #S830432 that is on the frame. Is running now. This is a clean slate for someone to easily make a Very special, perhaps one off car. Being light weight, it could be pretty competitive if raced. If you have any questions, please call 831-338-8205 Key words: Alfa, Austin, MG, Triumph, Porsche, Bentley, Morgan, Corvette, Cobra.

This chassis no. 830432 also reported as a complete restored conventional XK150 in New Zealand.

On balance it seems that this is not the right chassis number. Could it be re-checked as it is a most interesting special XK

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
