Auction description:
Lot 105
1959 Jaguar XK 150 3.4 L Cabriolet
French title
Chassis n ° S837836BW
- Same owner for the last 7 years
- Interesting technical upgrades
- Extensive history file
The car on offer is a Jaguar XK 150 Drophead Coupe, manufactured in November 1958, registered in 1959, and sold by Jaguar New York. The production sheet provided by Jaguar Heritage mentions that this was a left-hand drive car, made for the US market. It was delivered with a cream-coloured exterior that it still features today. The carpets and the leather upholstery are blue, as well as the matching hood, and wire wheels complete the set.
In the beginning of the 1990s, the car arrived in France, and it was then completely restored. In order to take full advantage of the performance of the car, it is equipped with a 5-speed Tremec mechanical gearbox and disc brakes on all four wheels, the rear drums have been replaced by discs. It comes with a comprehensive history file, detailing the regular services and the car's history. This car, with a restoration from some years ago, has a very pleasant and homogeneous patina. Its current owner has enjoyed the car since 2010, and as a member of the Jaguar Owners Club France, the car has participated in many outings. In good general condition, it will satisfy enthusiasts of long distance driving thanks to its technical improvements.

This car never had rear drum brakes as mentioned, all wheels had disc brakes from factory.
