    Sellers description:
If you are looking for a rare piece of British history you've found it here. This car is one of very few left that has been fixed up almost perfect. The body lifted above the frame to install new welting between the frame and body, no squeaks in this car. A complete new wiring harness from one end to the other. New interior, real leather not vinyl in cabin and trunk. New rubber along doors and trunk lid. New canvas top. Engine removed to paint in the engine compartment and the color is a 1997 Lincoln Town Car pearl tan. All external bumpers and associated bright work sent off for rechroming or replacement. New chrome wire wheels, and rechromed or replaced chrome knock off's for each wheel. The radiator removed and acid cleaned for proper water flow along with a new water pump installed at that time. Engine valve covers polished and the radiator top polished to its bright copper colored finish. This is one fine weekend driver or nice show car. Is it a perfect 100 point car, the answer is no. I didn't want a trailer queen, but one that could be driven on the weekends and show off at local car shows. Are there a few things that need fixing, sure are: if you have ever had a British car that didn't need a few things fixed from time to time ??

It seems the biggest question everyone has is has this car been in any accident, wrecked or such. The answer is no, it was not wrecked when i got it. Every orginial body part was there as it should be. The other question is about rust. If you have had any experience with the XK's you know the rust appears very bad along the sills, under the door's. This car had no rust when i got it, has none now. The frame and door sills are tight, in tack and rust free.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
