Sellers description:
We have sourced a truly stunning Jaguar XK 140 OTS overdrive. It was supplied on the 24th of October 1956 to Jaguar dealer New York and delivered to Mr Stallman in 1957. This car has been fitted with a 'Laylock de Normanville' overdrive, which can be identified by the DN and chassis number. This car benefited from a no expense spared ground up restoration a few years ago. We are pleased to be able to state that this meticulous process has brought the car back to factory-original condition. The bodywork is outstanding, the panel gaps are correct, the chrome details sparkle as new and the underbody is sound and free from any corrosion. The car has the original colour scheme of 'Black over red'. The matching black soft-top has inset windows. Of course, the picture would just not be complete without a set of chrome wire wheels! She has her matching numbers original 3.4 engine. This beautifully executed top motor has been given the Jaguar Heritage seal of approval.
