    Sellers description:
This is a beautiful old 1957 XK140 Fixed Head Coupe. This California car is absolutely rust free and shows no signs of accidents. It has a healthy 3.8 liter transplant with plenty of oil pressure; it starts, runs and drives well with no smoke and that classic Jaguar sound. It was repainted many years ago. The interior appears to have been redone at the same time. The last owner had the car over twenty years. It has been garaged and driven sparingly. This is a nice coupe to use as a very nice driver and a good candidate for a restoration. The automatics have always been rare and this XK140

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
