Current bid $6,000 reserve not met, 2 bids, 6 days left in auction. 100k miles.

Sellers description:
1957 Jaguar XK140 FHC. It was originally purchased by my father in the late sixties, the original engine was destroyed shortly thereafter and replaced with a small block Chevy engine. I do not know any of the specifics of the SBC. It does still have the original Jaguar overdrive transmission. The car has not been driven regularly since 1994 when the previous owner had a stroke and was unable to drive from there out. The car is being sold as is and there is no title available as Georgia does not issue titles on vehicles this old. The car has never been restored. The interior vinyl and carpeting was replaced sometime in the early '80s but it is now quite rough again. The body is in reasonable condition for a car of this age. It has been garaged for at least the past twenty years. The paint is flaking from the aluminum in places and there is some rust around the edges. The rockers seem to be solid but the wood in the floor is giving out.

Build date is 1956 (November) Interesting that the identification plate was issued by Jaguar main distributor in Paris France

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
