Lot #80811
This 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster is finished in red over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a tan soft top, a split windshield, dual carburetors, 15″ knock-of wheels, Smiths instrumentation, lap belts, and chrome bumpers and trim. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2008, and recent service included lubricating the chassis as well as performing fluid changes and a tune-up. This XK120 Roadster is now offered on behalf of the owner with service records, manuals, and New York registration.
The car was repainted in its current shade of red during current ownership. Equipment includes a tan soft top, a split windshield, and “tripod” headlights, along with chrome front bumpers and rear bumperettes. Recent service reportedly included replacing the seals at the top of the windshield.
Knock-off wire wheels are finished in silver and mounted with whitewall tires. The suspension was reportedly lubricated in preparation for the sale.
The cabin was refreshed during current ownership and features tan leather upholstery with red trim on the seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes beige carpets, lap belts, a dash-mounted mirror, and a passenger grab bar.
The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 3,500 miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.4-liter inline-six is equipped with dual overhead camshafts and dual carburetors. Work in preparation for the sale reportedly included fluid changes and servicing the carburetors.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
