Sellers description:
Here is a great opportunity to buy a restoration project that will be easy for a change . Here for sale is a very clean and very complete 120 roadster. I bought the car in texas but it was last registered in california in may 1987. It was originally cotswold blue I believe . The important parts are there and are super clean and straight . The motor is apart but all there except the starter and radiator. The head is all rebuilt and in plastic the crank is polished, the pistons rods parts etc all there ,the car rolls and the trunk, sills, doors, fenders, frame etc are all super clean, there is only one small rust spot in the inner panel in front of the right rear wheel about 2 inches square and it is not anything important or expensive to fix.You can see that the right rear fender has a spot where there is no paint on it but it is only surface rust . The car is straight and the doors hood and trunk all fit perfectly. The hood and doors and trunk are aluminum and nice .The doors do not sag and all body mounts and inner structures are perfect. the car includes the original gearbox, and all related pieces . I do not have the time to restore this car . The seats are shot but basically all there. I also have the original dash plaque for the 132.6 mph in belgium! It does not have the top or side curtains and I do not see the hubcaps. If you are able and have the tools and ability and shop to restore this car you will have a car that is selling everyday for 65000 in good condition to 100,000 dollars plus in concours condition.

Can anyone explain the unusual grill in this car? I've seen them on other 120's. Almost looks like a 140 grill but not quite.

Currently under restoration.

The grille in the unrestored photos is probably an aftermarket replacement that was offered by a big mail order auto parts store called Warshawski in Chicago in the 1970s. At the time the 120 style grille was no longer available new anywhere.
