![]() | This is the first car that I ever owned. I will also keep it until the day I die, and I ain't planning on going anytime soon. I was raised in the California car culture, and I wanted my first car to be the most classically beautiful car that I could afford. Updated July 15th, 2008. Not legal proof of ownership. |

This is my first car. I bought it as a young man in September 1968 and swore that I would never sell it. When I bought it, I was told that the original owner was Charles Hornberg, which probably added $5.00 to the value of the car.

For Peter Ingram; Before there was a Heritage Certificate, I wrote to Jaguar to get information about the car. I received a letter confirming almost everything I had known except for the name of the first owner. I had been told the first owner was Charles Hornberg, but I would like to confirm that, if at all possible. Is it possible for someone to take a second look at the factory records to see if the name of the first owner is listed?
