This was a frame off restoration on a very good car. While the body shop was doing the body work and paint, we did the engine, exhaust, brakes, front end and suspension. New gas tank, wiring, shocks by Koni, new fuel pump, water pump, radiator, hoses, interior, top and side curtains.

In addition the car comes with rare options such as race cowl for driver and mirror cowl. The bonnet has been louvered and really looks the part when you use the race cowl. The last time this car showed at a JCNA show it was judged at 99.11 and of course you will want to know why they deducted the points, well, it didn't have a fold out lubrication chart in the owners manual and it is sporting chrome valve covers. This is the best and it is available now. Try to duplicate this and it will take a year of your time and well over one hundred thousand of your money.

This is a very late XK120 and has two rare options, a curved emergency brake handle and a flat horn button.

Accompanied by its corresponding JDHT certificate, this late-production 1954 Jaguar XK120 SE Roadster was built on 16 July 1954. Interesting late-production items include the curved handbrake lever, flat horn button, and flatter seats yielding more passenger space. Two weeks later on July 30, 1954, it was shipped to California via official Jaguar importer Charles Hornburg of Los Angeles. Under the prior owner, the Jaguar was given a comprehensive frame-off restoration to concours standard in 2014 at Bill Tracy Jaguar of Sarasota, Florida. The restoration has been carefully maintained ever since, with accolades including a Best of Show award and JCNA (Jaguar Clubs North America) judging scores of 99.59 and 99.79/100 (both during 2016) resulting in second place in the JCNA Southeastern Region championship despite the cars modern radial tires and louvered bonnet.

This XK120 SE retains its matching numbers engine block and while the cylinder head was replaced during the engine rebuild, the original is included with the sale of the car. The original gearbox was replaced. Colors are striking, with Red paint and Black leather upholstery, plus a Black soft top, tonneau cover, and matching side curtains. A period style Brooklands windscreen adds a 1950s racing flavor, with proper covers included when the full windshield is not in use.
