Additional description:
This example is the first purchased by our collector who owned several including a Ferrari Testarossa. It has the special charm of being equipped with two fly-screen wind deflectors, instead of the windshield, because he wanted this car for summertime rallies. Initially painted red and black, the car was repainted in a pale green when it underwent an extensive restoration. As was the case for the other XK 120 of our collector in this sale, this restoration too was executed thoroughly three years ago. The parts were purchased from the Garage Felice, a restoration specialist of British cars in Napoli, with either repairs or a change of the elements, both for the mechanicals and for the body. The body, the chassis, the running gear, the electrics, the upholstery and the hood are in superb condition. Proceeding in the same way as for his other XK 120, he was keen to use his expertise in the restoration of this car, as a former director of a factory working in the automotive field. A book chronicling the restoration includes all invoices and photos, and will be provided with the car. Having driven less than 100km since the completion of the restoration, the car offers the new owner the pleasures of a pristine roadster.

My late father owned this car from approximately 1957 - 1960. Sold it when he got married in 1960. Bought another in 2000. Attached is a picture of this Jag taken during that timeframe in Lewisburg, Gettysburg or Harrisburg PA.
