I've owned this car since 1984. I bought it in Ohio from a man named Dan Winkler, a friend of my sister, for $7200. He owned it since 1977. I drove the car for 7 years until I moved to Japan. It had been in storage since then, 1991. It is now under restoration by John Hollansworth and his Jaguar expert, Leland, in Hot Springs Village, AR. John's company is called Holly Classics. The chassis has been blasted and powder coated. The body has been dipped, treated, repaired and sent to the painter. The engine, which is older and not originally supplied with the car, has been given a complete performance rebuild by Terry Jaguar in Illinois. It's original 160hp has been increased to 250hp! It will be Jaguar red with a biscuit interior and tan top. We expect that the restoration will be complete by the Spring of 2008.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
