This 1952 Jaguar XK120 SE Fixed Head Coupe is a non-running project that was acquired by the seller’s father in 1970 and is said to have remained in storage and not run since. It has a 3.4-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in gray. The car is equipped with dual SU carburetors, 16″ wire wheels, and bucket seats trimmed in blue leather. Components that will accompany the car include chrome bumpers, interior panels and trim, spare wheels, glass, instrumentation, and a radiator. This XK120 SE project is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with a clean Missouri title in the owner’s name listing the car as a 1953 model.
The car is said to have been repainted in 1970, and the seller notes that the wood floors have been replaced and bumper components have been re-chromed.
Chrome 16” wire wheels feature knock-off hubs and are mounted with 6.00-16 BFGoodrich Silvertown tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drums, and a replacement master brake cylinder is included in the sale.
The bucket seats are trimmed in blue leather upholstery that shows wear. Removed panels, trim pieces, and dashboard components will accompany the car.
The four-spoke steering wheel remains in the cabin, and photos of the removed instrumentation and trim are included.
The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features dual SU carburetors, and it was factory rated at 180 horsepower in Special Edition-specification. The car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission.
The data plate lists the chassis number S679998, and the sequence is used as the VIN on the current Missouri title without the leading “S.”
Spare and removed parts will accompany the car.
