suspect that engine no. should have an S at the end, not a 5

I'll check the engine suffix when I pick it up in the next week or so - the chassis number is S-680436, how do I update the chassis number to includ the "S"?

    Auction description:
    Vintage Motor Cars of Hershey
    10 October 2008
    Lot 231
1952 Jaguar XK 120SE Fixed Head Coupe
To be auctioned on Friday, October 10, 2008
    Sold for $69,300
    Chassis no. S680436

This 1952 XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe is equipped with the Special Equipment option, which included a C-Type cylinder head, high-lift camshafts, an upgraded suspension, and a dual exhaust system. The car, which spent some years as a rally car, was originally purchased by the President of Bethlehem Steel, and then passed through at least one other owner, before Mr. Richard Dietrich purchased it in the 1970s. This fine, unrestored example continues to display most of its original black exterior finish, and is accented by dual driving lamps, dual fender-mounted sideview mirrors, rear bumper guards, and red painted knock-off steel wire wheels, with Dunlop Roadspeed tires.

The red leather upholstery displays an age-appropriate patina, and remains very presentable. Specific period rally modifications include a pair of Heuer racing stopwatches, as well as markings on the speedometer and tachometer, and an accessory manifold vacuum gauge. The car is offered complete with its original and largely complete tool roll and jack, along with the original owner's and shop manuals. Interestingly, the documentation includes a logbook, revealing the complete service and maintenance history of this fascinating automobile from new.

With its high performance specification, period rally modifications, and extensive documentation, this XK 120 looks and sounds fabulous and is ready to be enjoyed at a multitude of events.

    Addendum
Please note that the law firm for the Estate of the owner is acquiring a Pennsylvania title. This process could take one to three months. RM will keep posession of the vehicle until the title is received, at that time ownership will be transferred.
