Arguably the most beautiful production car of all time. The XK120 fixed head coupe is simply stunning from any angle. Body off chassis rebuild with added bonnet louvres and Monza filler complete the perfect body. The apple green metallic paint looks superb and right for the car. The cabin is concours with bucket seats, new woodwork and supplementary trim. The car looks like a piece of fine art.
However to drive the car is where the real pleasure is .We have Guy Broads ultimate XK120fhc. The engine is 3.8litre S specification to fast road tune driven through the MT75 5 speed gearbox with induction through 3x2"SU carbs and exhaust through a free flowing stainless steel manifold. The speed is tamed and scrubbed off with disc brakes all around.
Left hand drive with testing miles only this fabulous car is ready for the perfect continental touring trips you have always promised yourself

The Jaguar XK 120 Fixed Head Coupé, which we present, was sold new in 1954 by the Jaguar dealer in Los Angeles. As evidenced by its Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, the body is originally in Pastel Green with a leather interior in Suede Green. This copy arrived from the United States in 2002, when an English collector, living in France, decided to include it in his collection. Particularly fond of the Coventry firm, its owner also admires the work of Jaguar specialist Nigel Dawes. The Englishman had studied in the 90s the modification of several XK 120 coupes. Thus the engine, gearbox, braking system, suspensions and even the body received many improvements intended to improve the performance of the car. This XK 120 was entrusted in 2003 to the English preparer Guy Broad for a complete restoration. The bodywork is then stripped bare and repainted in the Almond Green color specific to Nigel Dawes' XKs. Louvers are added to the front cover to better dissipate the heat from the 6-cylinder, which has also been completely redesigned. In particular, it receives 3 SU carburettors, a straight port cylinder head, XK 150 manifolds, an XJ6 ignition distributor, and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Although started in 2003, the restoration of this XK 120 will not be completed by Guy Broad until 2015. The work done is superb and the materials used are of excellent quality. Having driven little in recent years, this XK 120 coupe is just waiting to get back on the road, but a mechanical overhaul is recommended if you want to go long distances. This very elegant English coupe comes at an attractive estimate, and it should be noted that the original engine block, carburettors and gearbox sold with the car will be picked up from the current owner.
