This car was built in England in the late fifties/early sixties as an aluminum bodied "Special". Built for Sprints and Hillclimbs from a 1955 Jaguar XK 140SE Drop Head Coupe utilising original chassis, original engine with "C Type" head, close ratio gearbox with overdrive, limited slip differential, 2" H8 carbs etc. Ran Brighton Speed Trials, Prescott Hillclimb etc. UK registered until 1997 it is in very good condition and is a unique and eye catching road or race car that never fails to draw a crowd. It is currently road registered and would be eligible for historic events everywhere.
History
Ran Brighton Speed Trials, Weston-Super-Mare Sprints and Prescott Hillclimb mid 1960's and early 70's.

This car lived in British Columbia Canada for several years, the previous owner was trying to locate its whereabouts several months ago. I will inform him that it is listed here.

chassis 807200 is listed here as [64EHK]
when [VAR140] was advertised from Victoria BC Canada back in march 2006 the seller did quote chassis number 8007200DN yes it was listed with extra zero 8007 listed as engine number g33798s so G3379-8S so will have to assume seller misread chassis number

In the past, there has been confusion about two cars: 807200DN and S807209DN. As far as I know them, the facts are:
807200 DN is reg. 64 EHK (GB).
S807209DN was reg. VAR 140 (GB). This is the car, which has been modified. In 2009, it was located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

HI, I built the car in the late seventies early eighties, I raced it at Brighton Speed Trials for a couple of years, the car had a pair of sand cast 2" SU's I fitted the LSD from a later MK2 jaguar to improve traction.
I based the bodywork on the Napier Railton, a panel beater in Henfied Sussex England helped with the panels.
I'd love to think the car is still intact but feel the parts are worth more than the whole these days.
