This car is highly modified, including all round disc brakes, independant rear suspension, 3.8L, etc.

Added other info Brandon had posted to Jag-Lovers pages.
The Jag is a XK 140 MC OTS, #S810189
Made in November of 1954, and delivered to Charles Hornburg in Los Angeles and sold to M.G. Walsh in January of 1955, we bought it in March of 2000.
We sometimes refer to it as a XK-140 E because of some interesting e-type mods it had done in the early '70s. The biggest modification was the independent rear suspension from an E-Type this is the one with quad coil springs, because of this modification it is fitted with E-Type wheels as well. It has all around e-type disc brakes. It has a 3.8L XK-6 with 8:1 compression from a 1961 E-type, with 3 HD-8 Carburetors. It also has E-type seats, and gauges. This work was apparently done in the early 70s and then the car was stored for about 25 years until the car was sold at an estate auction, the buyer then turned it over to WilsonMotorCo out of Washington MO who we bought it from. The body work was done by the same guy that did the work on our Corvette.
