Sellers description:
This XK 140 is equipped with the « C »cylinder head, just like the victorious Type C during the « 24 Heures du Mans in 1955, 1956 and 1957. The car has 3000 km on the clock (which was rebooted) since its last renovation. It also had a complete mechanics overhaul operated by the specialist of the brand, engine, gear box, rear front, brakes, exhaust pipe, electric circuit, H8 carburattors, new tires, the overall equipment is running very well. The interior was also totally and carefully renovated to reach a high quality finish.
The upholstery is made of natural leather. The owner and his wife's initials are embroidered on each door. The dashboard is made of walnut burl. Visible parts of the platform and frame are in very good condition. No shock or corrosion mark to be found. The body has a perfect alignment and a high quality painting. Chrome and accessories were renovated. The frame number and car registration documents are compliant. This magnificent model is ready to hit the road with its new owner.
