    Ebay item 12/21/12
    picasaweb.google.com/113118476804746960725/1955XK140RoadsterWhite

I purchased this XK140 from an auction selling two cars from the estate of Fredric E. Guest II of Saint Petersburg Fl. A 1954 Bentley DHC was the other car and I was out bid on the Bentley. After getting the Jag back to the shop I started cleaning and inspecting my newest treasure. Under the seat cushion I found the new, never installed, license plate from 1997 with a note taped to the back from Woody. Verifying what I had been told, that the cars were stored in a warehouse for many years and not driven. (plate with note included) I Google searched Fredric and learned a few interesting facts. In 1928 his father Fredric E. Guest owned the plain with which his mother would attempt to be the first woman to cross the Atlantic. However they found a young female pilot by the name of Amelia Earhart to take her place and aviation history started a new chapter. Fredric II was a Principal in the Vinoy Development Corporation, that re-built the Stouffer Vinoy Resort in down town St. Petersburg, and is credited with saving the down town district.

Fredric II in 2008 as fund manager for Guest Capital LLC paid $1,422,368 for Tax Fraud to New York State for claiming to be a Florida residence.

Copies of all articles will be provided to new owner of the XK140 along with Bentley registration, 1997 plate, his Vinoy club card and JCNA results.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
