Sellers description:
This 1956 XK140 roadster is pretty much complete. It is not a matching number car, though. The body and chasis match the commission plate, the engine does not, but the engine is out of a1955 Jag. The frames are there for the seats, but there are no cushions. The soft top frame and all the windshield pieces and chrome pieces are there. The engine turns freely. The car had been stripped to bare metal. I gave it a quick lick of paint to presever the metal that is left. The frame is in good shape.The car steers and rolls for ease of shipping. This XK140 is going to need a full restoration.

This car has been commisioned to me for a full chassis/body check! the chassis is rusted beyond repair,the bulkhead has been cut in half and is rusted/rotted ready for scrap, the rear end is beond repair, the engine is from a mk v11. I have informed the vendor to ask for a full refund and get the vehicle scrapped as the only good part of the car is the front uprights, and as the purchaser was sold this as a vehicle just requiring some body work with a c type enginehe should sue for compensation. Please all be warned there are good sellers out there but there are more con merchants, this is no reflection on the sellers fathers buisness as they are a reputable company.
