•Delivered new to California

•Extensively refurbished
One of 3,281 left-hand drive XK140 roadsters made, this example was supplied new via Jaguar Cars, New York, USA and first owned by one Joyce Jordan of Los Angeles, California. The original colour scheme was Pastel Blue with red leather interior, the same as it is today, while the 'S' suffix to the engine number indicates that this car left the factory fitted with the 'C'-type cylinder head. Its first, lady, owner sold the Jaguar to a Mrs Katie Johnson who used it until 1972. The car is currently in the Netherlands in the possession of only its third owner.
Although never restored, the XK has benefited from extensive refurbishment: the seats being re-upholstered, the convertible hood renewed and all safety-critical mechanical components replaced in 2014. Parts renewed include the steering box, exhaust system, fuel tank, brake linings, shock absorbers and tyres. Representing an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire an un-restored example benefiting from limited ownership, this exceptional XK140 SE comes complete with tool kit, owner's manual, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, sundry invoices and Netherlands registration papers.
