1956 Jaguar XK 140 MC Roadster
ESTIMATE: $80,000 - $90,000
CHASSIS NO: S812718
The XK 140 MC Roadster offered here is a matching numbers example that has been through a complete restoration that was finished a little less than eight years ago. Notably, this XK has been fitted with the rare sandcast H8 carburetors, which were also used on the C-Types for added performance. The additional power of the MC engine, coupled with the larger racing type carburetors, and the five-speed gearbox that was fitted during the restoration makes this a fine example of a high-speed touring car.

We understand the Jaguar is complete with a Jaguar Heritage certificate, an original owners manual and a full set of tools.

The highly desirable XK 140 MC is a truly spirited and fun two seat sports car that in this configuration is a desirable purchase that should always retain its value, both historically and in the market. It should also be noted that this fully restored XK is described as being on the button and ready for its next owner to enjoy for weekend events or long distance touring.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
