Sellers description:
BaT Exclusive: 1957 Jaguar XK140 OTS Roadster Project
This 1957 Jaguar XK140 OTS Roadster (Chassis S813266) is offered in project form with the chassis and drivetrain completely rebuilt. The car hails from Georgia where the seller says it had only two owners and was garaged all its life so there was minimal rust. The chrome has been restored and many new British parts are included in the lot. It is available in Boca Raton, Florida for $58k.
The seller tells us that this was an original C-Type head car, and the rebuilt engine below looks quite clean aesthetically. The carbs are not yet mounted but are shown in the photo album below.
The many loose parts are shown in the photo below. Much of the chrome remains in bubble wrap, and major components like the fuel tank, bumpers, and folding top are visible among the other items.
The car is offered on a Bill of Sale as the seller states that Georgia has not titles for vehicles of this age.
