Current bid $7,500 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1957 JAGUAR XK140 FIXED HEAD with C Type head and automatic transmission. CHASSIS S815655BW BODY J6360 ENGINE G7891-8S TRANS 11056 This restoration needs to be finished. It was in a restoration shop when I purchased it and it has had about $8,000 worth of work done so far. The work performed was on brakes, carbs, gas tank cleaned, radiator re-cored, new fuel pump, paint stripped and put in primer. Presently it does run. The motor matches and it has good compression. The car still needs some metal work which you can see by the photos. All of the parts I have for the car are pictured in the photos. This is a great car to find in this condition and price range.

•Registered in the UK
Its accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate reveals that this XK140SE was delivered new to Jaguar Cars, New York, USA in May 1956 and first owned by one Joseph A Beadle of Woodside, New York. The car was originally finished in black with matching red-piped leather interior, and left the factory equipped with automatic transmission (since changed to a manual gearbox).
In 2016, this XK was subject to a full 'last nut and bolt' body-off restoration to effectively 'as new' condition. Since the restoration's completion, the car has covered only a handful of testing/delivery miles and remains in potentially show-winning condition. Expected to possess a UK V5C registration document by time of sale, this exceptional XK140 comes with a comprehensive photographic record of the restoration and the aforementioned JHT certificate.
