Sellers description:
This is a Jaguar XK140 MC project that has had the restoration started but never got further than the way you see it now. The car was dis-assembled and the majority of the mechanical restoration done. The chassis has been painted and rebuilt, the majority of the engine has been cleaned balanced and machined. The body was striped to bare metal and primed, the body is in pretty good shape with minimal rust mostly in the rear sill area the lower section of the headlamp pods were rusty and had amateur repairs started but the pods are still repairable, the big issue with the body is that it's missing the door shells, rear fenders and boot lid.

I have laid out all the parts and the car is very complete other that the C head and the body panels

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
