Car offered at:
www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1957-jaguar-xk140-fixed-head-coupe-c-7093.htm

Note: As of this date, this is the highest chassis number recorded for a surviving left hand drive XK140 FHC.

Sellers description:
1957 Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe with matching numbers in black with red interior. Excellent color combination and highly sought after. Comes equipped with a manual transmission, dual carburetors and wire wheels with white wall tires. Lots of potential. Great candidate for restoration. Just came out of storage.

This car was driven to XK70 at Shelsley Walsh, as shown in one photo here. Also a recording made re the car, chat with owner etc at:
www.youtube.com/watch
Owner deciding what to do with it - but it's going! Note that its original colour was Cream not the present dark colour.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
