This car is referred to in detail in a letter from the owner, Jack Stamp of Wichita, Kansas, in "Jaguar Driver" magazine September 1982. He wrote about its long history in concours competitions. He bought the car new in September 1955.

I bought this car from the estate of the late Jack Stamp, in 2016.
It needed far more work than I had anticipated. It is featured in 2 common books. I will update the above plate in the near future
