    jagxk.com/cars-for-sale/category/jaguar-xk140-dhc-for-sale.html

    Seller's description:

Jaguar XK140 DHC SE LHD 1955

    Chassis no: S817554DN

This Jaguar XK140 drophead coupe special equipment (or MC in the USA) started life in California, USA and was sold by Hornburg Hollywood. The car was restored here at Twyford Moors Classic Cars in the 1990's and has since been cared for by its owner to the highest standard.

Since its restoration the car has been toured extensively, has won many awards for its condition and is well known within the XK community. This XK was extensively upgraded during restoration and benefits from a 3.8 litre triple carburettor engine, five speed gearbox and disc brakes amongst other upgrades. The sale includes the very desirable number plate "55XK".

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
