1956 JAGUAR XK140 MC DROPHEAD COUPE
Chassis No. S818074DN
Engine No. G5933-8
Burgundy with beige leather interior and beige soft top
This XK140 MC Drophead was originally supplied through Jaguar main agents Charles Hornburg, Inc. of Los Angeles having left the factory works on 7 December 1955. It is a full matching numbers car that has now been fully and professionally restored to the highest of standards by marque experts. The body was removed and the chassis stripped, prepared and powder coated with all suspension bushes and running gear refurbished and replaced. A complete new braking system has been fitted, as well as a complete new electrical system. The engine was rebuilt and blueprinted with balanced crank and new pistons, etc. before dyno testing. The driveshaft was reconditioned and the differential received new seals. The Jaguar is also fitted with a new stainless steel exhaust system. The car has been beautifully repainted in deep burgundy and retrimmed throughout in beige Connolly leather upholstery with new carpets and new beige Stayfast soft top.
We thoroughly recommend close inspection of this finely presented XK140 MC Drophead.
