    Car now offered at:

    www.classicdriver.com/en/car/jaguar/xk-140/1956/688022

    Seller's description:

    Year of manufacture     1956

        Mileage     16 100 mi / 25 911 km

        Chassis number     S818495BW

        Condition     Restored

        Exterior brand color     Westminster blue

        Interior color     Blue

        Gearbox     manual

        performance

        210 hp / 155 kW / 208 BHP

        Drivetrain     2wd

The Jaguar Heritage certificate is available, so you know that the engine number fits the chassis and the body. The C - cylinder head with the compression 8: 1 provides the power of 155 KW / 210 HP.

The "Westminster blue" vehicle is equipped with the SE package (Special Equipe), which includes a double exhaust system, two mirrors, additional headlights and a radio, as well as chrome spoke wheels and an overdrive gearbox.

In 2003 the vehicle "nut & bolt" was restored. The restoration is very well documented by invoices and photos. The costs have clearly exceeded the required purchase price.

Since then, the vehicle has been driven regularly, but only a few thousand km. It is still in mint condition, without any service bottlenecks. An opinion from the year 2013 confirms the condition 1, a new opinion is of course created.

This should certainly be one of the most interesting offers on the market.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
