We have on offer for you today a very early original U.K. car which has been in this private owners hands for over 8 years. It is finished in Old English White with Red interior and has during his ownership been retored in stages to its present excellent standard.
The work done includes the replacement of body panels where necessary and a full bare metal respray and we are informed that the chassis was in excellent condition from the start and as can be seen from the photograph the bodyworkis in excellent condition. The engine had been extensively reconditioned by the previous owner and some receipts are available for the work done and mechanically the car is very sound. The interior trim has been replaced, with the exception of the seats, which are in their original Red leather.
This lovely example has a current M.O.T. test until June next year and is in daily use by the vendor which is a testament to its reliability. Although he admits it is no-where near concours it is in excellent condition.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
