The Jaguar XK150 was the last of the line of this highly important range of cars and this particular example, which is an original right hand drive car, dates from 1957.
Although it has had some restoration done to it over the years and has received a recent ú3000 bill for a service from a Jaguar specialist, it is described as a lovely original car with it's original registration number and is complete with the old buff log book in the history file.
It comes with the 3442cc six cylinder engine and at some time it has been converted from it's original automatic gearbox to the present manual synchromesh gearbox with overdrive which is obviously much better.
This is a lovely example which we are informed drives extremely well and forms part of a collection of vehicles which are today offered entirely without reserve.
Please note: This car is being sold today with a current MOT certificate and road fund licence until the end of may next year. There are also bills for over ú20000 for its restoration and we are also informed that it has the synchromesh gearbox.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
