Having been manufactured on 14th July 1958, this genuine righthand drive Jaguar has led an interesting life. She was exported to Malaya and registered on 1st September 1958 to Mr. Douglas Earp who was a rubber plantation manager who was awarded an MBE in 1974 for services to the planting industry. The current vendor - a Chartered Design Engineer - was working on various large projects in Kuala Lumpur in anticipation of the creation of the state of Malaysia when he purchased the Jaguar on 1st August 1963. He commissioned some repairs on the car in 1965 and had the original blue interior changed to red with materials being supplied by Connolly Brothers. Throughout his stewardship, the vendor kept the Jaguar very well maintained as confirmed by the two quite significant history folders. In 1967 the car was repatriated to the UK and used on a regular basis. The vendor had a couple of other assignments abroad but chose to leave the Jaguar in storage in the UK, he even has correspondence from Jaguar about how to store the car correctly for long periods.
In 2007 Mark Cooper a Jaguar trained mechanic carried out some work on her and has been maintaining the XK150 ever since. In total and after inspecting the history, it appears VSV 633 has covered in total 46,000 miles from new. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 17th October 2018, this matching numbers, low mileage with only one former keeper, Jaguar is a sound example with an exceptional pedigree.
