Car now offered at:

ckl.co.uk/sales/1958-jaguar-xk150s-fia/

Seller's description:

1958 Jaguar XK150S – FIA

We are pleased to offer this front-running XK150S, complete with FIA papers valid to 2027 and an extensive race history file. This XK is suitable for a variety of events, such as the Jaguar XK Challenge, Silverstone Classic, Spa 6 Hours and more.

Now fitted with a Sigma built 3.8 engine, triple plate clutch and oil cooler, it’s safe to say no expense has been spared on the mechanicals. The rear axle is supported by uprated shafts and currently runs a 3.77:1 diff ratio, currently sat upon 16 x 6” wire wheels. The interior is finished in deep red leather and is remarkably well kept for a full-time racing XK. Any Jaguar enthusiast who attends these events will recognise the registration ‘150 HTB’ usually as the front running car! The perfect car for the experienced or fresh racing driver.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
