Car offered at:
www.vintagerollsroycecars.com/car-details/1959-jaguar-xk150-fhc-se-34-litre_982. ...

Make: Jaguar
Model: XK150 FHC SE 3.4 Litre
Year: 1959
Price: £75,000 (approx €95,835 euros)

Chassis number: S824820DN
Engine number: V 6624-8
Registration number: 350YUX

A matching numbers Special Equipment car in very lovely condition. The car was acquired by the current owner from an estate sale in Germany where the car had resided for many years as part of a small collection.

A brass Plaque on the bulkhead attests to the car having been fully restored in 1988 to a very high standard. Indeed when you look at the car underneath it is perfection with no rot or rust whatsoever & perfect sills appearing as they did when leaving the factory. The car has always been maintained without regard to expense & indeed comes with some recent bills covering a brand new set of wire wheels, a stainless steel exhaust & a host of other items.

Great care has been taken by the current owner, a meticulous Jaguar collector to get the car running absolutely right. To this end the carbs were fully rebuilt, timing set to factory spec etc & as a result the engine starts instantly & is a crisp as any I have experienced. A full compression test was done with the results viewable in our picture gallery for the car. An overdrive model, the car is a relaxed long distance cruising machine with a surprising turn of speed when pushed.

The car is finished in indigo blue with the paint being in fine order. To the interior is black leather again in perfect condition complimented by black carpets. The dash is also correct padded black leather. Under the bonnet the story continues with the engine bay being well detailed to the point it could be shown without any problem. Modern seat belts have been fitted with a view to the safety of the occupants. The boot is carpeted in black & boasts a tool roll & warning triangle.

The car comes with a thick folder full of bills & pictures attesting to works done. We strongly encourage potential buyers to view the pictures of the underside of the car.

Car offered by
Fender Broad

£89,995 - £15k increase in 8 months since last sold.

350YUX is an original UK right hand drive XK150 that has had just 5 previous owners since first registered in the summer of 1959. We believe the car to be a matching numbers vehicle and there is a substantial history file and evidence to support this.

The restoration of an XK Jaguar is a substantial task requiring the very best coach building and restoration skills. This restored car is a superb example of quality coach building. Laterally the car has been retrimmed by the expert trim professionals within the Guy Broad stable.

Mechanically the car drives very well retaining good oil pressure and a smooth operating 4 speed manual and overdrive gearbox.

Recent 4 pot brake calliper upgrade and a few other subtle improvements make this car a perfect opportunity to join the XK fraternity. The car is literally without fault and ready to enjoy

Supplied with a 12mth, 3000 mile major mechanical warranty the car is ready to grand tour all over Europe or just potter around the highways and byways of the UK.

A stunner!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
