This car is mentioned in a letter to the "Jaguar Driver" magazine January 1981 by the then owner, David G. Ellis of Blackpool, England. His car was registered on January 1st 1960 and was black with black disc wheels. It was subsequently painted metallic golden sand, but when Mr Ellis acquired i in May 1969 he returned it to black. He stated that he used the car daily.
