Car returns to ebay 4/3/18
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-XK150-Fixed-Head-Coupe-Blue-3-4-litre-/253533961186
Classified Ad price: £65,000.

Sellers description:
This original UK car was located in Scotland before being sold to a person in Ireland whereupon the new owner stripped the car back to bare metal, carried out metalwork as required and repainted in Opalescent Silver Blue. The whole of the interior has been removed and replaced. Most of the chrome brightwork has been rechromed or replaced. The engine and gearbox were removed and both rebuilt, as was the rear axle. All of the suspension front and rear have been removed, refurbished and replaced. The old wiring harness was removed and a brand new harness refitted. The wheels have been sandblasted, powder coated and a set of Avon radial tyres have been fitted. We believe including the cost of the car, the refurbishment to date is approx 85K.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
