    Auction description:
Lot 440: Jaguar XK150 Fixedhead Coupé
British & Continental Sports and Touring Cars, Coys (30th September 2004)
    Overview
Has been extensively and carefully restored over a period of several years having been purchased in 1995. The restoration was finally completed by the present owner in 2002. All mechanical components have been fully overhauled and the engine completely rebuilt to an exceptionally high standard and the cylinder head converted with lead-free valve inserts to accommodate the use of lead free petrol. The interior leather trim has all been replaced and is in excellent order. The exhaust system a stainless steel unit and all the chrome work has been refurbished, again, to a very high standard. Sitting on chrome wire wheels the condition is testament to the quality of workmanship and thoroughly worthy of close inspection.
