Car to be at auction 4/18
angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic/saturday-14th-april-2018/1958-jaguar-xk150-34-dh ...
Auction description:
1958 Jaguar XK150 3.4 DHC
Lot Number:
Estimate: £90,000 - 110,000
V5 Present
MoT Exempt
Chassis number: S827124DN
One of just three XK150 DHC's exported to Australia in 1958 and supplied to it's first owner by Brylaw of Sydney. Purchased by the second owner, a Queensland resident, in 1960, the car remained in the area shared between three other owners until 2000 when purchased by the vendors, Norfolk residents, who happened to be on vacation in the area. Most people make do with a boomerang as a souvenir from Oz. We are informed that the car remains largely in original condition bar retrim and paint, no doubt due to spending the first forty-two years of it's life in a dry climate. The winner of many concours events whilst resident Down Under. Although MoT exempt was last MoT'd in 2012. The car is complete with history file including 2000 Australian bill of sale, import documentation, original maintenance handbook, Heritage certificate, ownership details, some MoTs/MoT history, various invoices, an official poster for XK 50th Anniversary and copies of many photographs including event winning trophies.
